“I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” – Galatians 2:20
This may sound weird, especially in the context of the need for leading others to Christ in our world and our culture, but trust me. It’ll make sense.
Leave no lasting impression of yourself on others. Do what you can so that when someone walks away, they don’t remember you. Live in such a way that, after you’re gone, your legacy does not continue.
Let others see only Jesus in your life.
Leave a lasting impression of who Jesus is on others. Do what you can so that when someone walks away, they have learned something about Jesus. Live in such a way that, after you leave this world, Jesus and His example in your life has made a lasting impression on the next generation.
Be invisible. Let them only see Jesus.
